Managing Director - Bryan Johnston

Bryan became a director of BTS in 2000, and was elected Managing Director in December 2009. Bryan specialises in combining technical knowledge with interpersonal skills development and delivers a  variety of technical, customer service, and regulatory training programmes. He is responsible for heading up BTS's provision of training and coaching services enabling students to acquire the newly introduced QFA qualification.

Company Secretary and Director - Aideen Howe

Aideen joined BTS in 2002 and was elected company secretary in December 2009. Aideen is the company's specialist in Equality Awareness; the European Computer Driving Licence (ECDL); & Business Coaching for Women. She has been responsible for project managing numerous training and development programmes which have led to the FAS Excellence through People Award. In addition Aideen has traveled the world providing the staff and managers of our HR clients with training and coaching solutions in support of new IT implementation projects.

Director - Frank Salisbury

Frank joined BTS in 2000 as Managing Director, prior to which he was a founder director of Softsell Ltd and Managing Partner of the Salisbury Partnership. Frank was HR Manager with Abbey National Financial Services from 1992 to 1997. Frank stood down as MD of BTS in December 2009 and became chairman of the BTSi group.

Director - Sandy Metcalfe

Sandy’s background is in sales, sales management and Human Resources, working in First Active plc / First National Building Society, and previously in UDT Bank, J. & L. F. Goodbody, & Bank of Ireland.

He held a number of senior management positions with First Active, before leaving in 1999, to set up his own management consultancy, and then joining BTS as a shareholder & director in 2000. Sandy stood down as company secretary in December 2009, and became Chief Executive Officer of the BTSi group.

Director - Jack Gleeson

Jack is a recognised specialist in Coaching Business Leaders and High Achievers. He possesses special skills in Communication, Teamwork, Charismatic Leadership and Conflict Resolution. From a business and farming background in Co. Tipperary, Jack was educated in Blackrock College and University College Dublin. He trained and qualified as an accountant in KPMG Stokes Kennedy Crowley where he spent 10 years specializing in Company Investigations, Corporate Recovery and Corporate Finance. One of the leading Company Doctors in Ireland, he has held senior positions in the Accountancy profession with KPMG, Arthur Young (now Ernst & Young) and Mazars. For many years he has practiced as a Management Consultant and has held executive and non executive positions in several companies

Director - Rory Spain

Rory is a highly experienced education and examination specialist - with a primary focus in financial services. Before joining BTS Rory was Head of Learning and Development with ICS Building Society, the mortgage subsidiary of Bank of Ireland. Rory has recently worked on a number of major projects across Europe and the Middle East researching and implementing best practice in the mortgage and banking sectors.
